LivePicture adds nature to office environment

Plants bring a new dimension to an otherwise dull and lacklustre indoor environment.  Desk, shelf and window space does not always allow for houseplants though – but that should never limit the options – there’s the wall space too!  Leaf colour, floral interest – plants can bring warmth,visual impact and a welcoming backdrop for employees and visitors in the form of a LivePicture living art wall frame. Warm and Welcoming

Employees and management felt that the offices at Amazon’s warehouse hub at Bristol could benefit from a softening natural addition – a fresh injection of life to revive and add character.  Consulting with installers and interior plant specialists Inleaf, the management team were looking for an informal, jungle-themed planting solution: Enter LivePicture. 

Eight LivePictures have been installed in the communal areas and workspaces and, in keeping with the brief, Inleaf chose plants with foliage contrast and full vigour to suit, growing on plants and supplying larger pots with bushy vegetative cover to provide the tropical wild theming sought out by the client.

Maintained and Developed

Inleaf will return to complete a second phase of the interior plantscape as well as to keep an eye on this first phase of LivePictures.  The cassette-based frame system is self-irrigating for up to 6 weeks, thanks to its integral water reservoir, meaning the living artwork is relatively low maintenance.  Its patented system allows for fully flexible and interchangeable plant choice to suit any whim, occasion or corporate theme.

The warehouse exterior will also not be overlooked, as the team will return when possible to add screening barriers and zones hedged with Mobilane Green Screens for privacy, edging and security around the site.
