LivePicture adds nature to office environment

Plants can bring a new dimension to an otherwise dull and lackluster indoor environment.  Even so, there might not always be enough space on desks, shelves, and in windows to add a few houseplants – but that should never hold you back, as there’s a whole wall to be used as well!  Leaf color, floral interest — with a LivePicture living art wall frame, you can use plants to add warmth, visual impact, and create a welcoming setting for employees and visitors alike. Warm and welcoming

Employees and management felt that the offices at Amazon’s warehouse hub in Bristol could do with a natural addition to bring a little softness — a fresh injection of life to revive and add character.  Having turned to installers and interior plant specialists Inleaf for help, the management team were hoping to find an informal, jungle-themed planting solution. And that’s where LivePicture entered the frame.
Eight LivePictures have since been installed in the communal areas and workspaces, and in keeping with the brief, Inleaf opted for plants with foliage contrast and plenty of vigor, while also supplying larger pots with bushy leaf cover to achieve the tropical wilderness theme preferred by the client.

Built-in water reservoir

Inleaf will return in due course to complete a second phase of interior landscaping, and to keep an eye on how the first phase of LivePictures is doing.  The cassette-based frame system waters itself for up to six weeks, thanks to its built-in water reservoir, meaning the living artwork is relatively low-maintenance.  Its patented system allows for fully flexible and interchangeable plant selection to suit any whim, occasion, or corporate theme. The outside of the warehouse isn’t being overlooked either, as the team will return when possible to add screening barriers and zones hedged with Mobilane Green Screens for privacy, fencing and security around the site.
