Prestigieus LivePanel project in Hong Kong

A prestigious construction project with Mobilane’s LivePanel was completed in Hong Kong. The Kau To Shan project is a series of houses with open living spaces. The sale prices of the properties amount to no less than 20 million US dollars. All 22 new houses have been given vertical gardens in the front garden. The vertical gardens give a unique look to the entire district.

How does the system work?

LivePanel is an innovative system in the field of vertical gardens. The unique modular system consists of gutter profiles and cassettes that are attached to the wall. The plant cassettes are attached to the gutters and the cloth in the cassette comes into contact with the water in the gutter. The roots of the plants are interwoven with the cloth and receive water and nutrition through capillary action. Due to the capillary action, the LivePanel system consumes a minimum amount of water. Sensors in the gutter profiles monitor the water level and the irrigation system replenishes the water if necessary.
