2009 – Alexander Ilsink: The third generation joins
At the age of 23, Alexander Ilsink, the youngest son of then-CEO Guido Ilsink, began his career with the Darthuizer Group as an account manager. In this role, he dealt with the company’s sales activities. In 2013, Alexander turned his attention specifically to Mobilane and played a key role in the introduction of LivePicture.
For this introduction, he moved to England, where he set up the entire Mobilane subsidiary in the country. Under his leadership, the branch grew significantly in just a year and a half, proving Alexander’s qualities as a commercial leader. After seven years in the business, he was appointed Mobilane’s commercial director. He is now at the helm of the Darthuizer Group as CEO, making him the third generation of the Ilsink family to lead the company.
Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation
As CEO, Alexander brings a vision that aligns seamlessly with the core values of the family business. Issues close to his heart, such as sustainability, innovation and strengthening the organization, are the pillars of his leadership. His goal is not only to expand the company, but also to build on the foundation laid by his grandfather and father.
Alexander’s focus on sustainability and innovation has led to a series of successful developments, further cementing Mobilane and the Darthuizer Group’s position as pioneers in the green industry. His leadership reflects the values that have defined the company since its inception, while continuing to explore new opportunities to lead the family business into an even greener future.
