The hedges are designed to be low-maintenance and generally require only one or two trims per year to remain dense and attractive. Adequate watering is important during the first few weeks after planting to support establishment. Once established, maintenance is typically limited to pruning and routine inspections.
Depending on the plant species, Mobilane Instant Hedges are available in heights of 100 cm, 155 cm, 180 cm, 200 cm, 220 cm, and 300 cm, with a standard width of 120 cm. Not all species are available in every height.

The pre-cultivated sedum cassettes are laid tightly together on the roof surface, creating an instantly green and fully covered roof. For proper drainage and a neat roof edge finish, a gravel border of approximately 10–15 cm is recommended around the perimeter. If the roof membrane is not root-resistant, a root barrier should be installed before laying the cassettes.
MobiRoof ECO is designed for low maintenance. Regular visual inspections, removal of weeds and unwanted seedlings, and fertilization once or twice a year (preferably in spring and autumn) are recommended. During prolonged dry periods, supplementary irrigation may be required.
For MobiRoof ECO, you can estimate approximately four sedum cassettes per square meter, as each cassette measures 50 cm × 50 cm. The product catalog contains additional information on area calculations and the quantities required for different roof sizes and project specifications.
