“Activating Biophilic Cities” | Mobilane and the University of Greenwich

The University of Greenwich Green Roofs and Living Walls Centre and the Department of Architecture and Landscape are hosting the ABC: Activating Biophilic Cities London Conference on 4-5 September 2018 – with Mobilane’s range of ready-made green systems at the heart of the event.

Activating Biophilic Cities

The programme of tours, keynote speeches and workshops will be peppered with ‘Connect with Nature’ events.  These will include a walk in Greenwich Park and an opportunity to listen and relax at the Biosonic Living Wall.  The event will take place at the Greenwich Campus which is on a World Heritage Site on the banks of the River Thames.

Improving air quality with green walls and screens

Mobilane UK will be in attendance at the event with visitors expected from the realms of architecture, urban planning, landscape design, interior design, education, local authorities and construction.   Mobilane are also working with the University of Glasgow on ongoing research into the benefits of green screens and living walls in the reduction of roadside pollutions and the improvement of urban air quality.
